I'm looking to buy a new pair of IEMs to be paired with my Sansa Clip + and a fresh Rock Box installation. Ideally I am looking for something with a good amount of treble energy, mid-range, and I prefer a fast accurate bass response to overly bass heavy signatures. Ideally I would like to be around $300 - $400 without absolutely having to have additional amplification, as this is a purely portable setup to compliment my Grado headphones. I listen to mostly alternative rock and metal, 320kbps CD rips. So far i've found the UE TF10 and Shure SE425 however I would love to hear your opinion on which IEM you would pick for this scenario.
