Hi everyone:
Is there any basic information anywhere on how to use bass and treble adjustment correctly for voice? I am a simultaneous interpreter and also teach interpretation, so I need to explain to my students correctly how to do the adjustments when they are using the treble and bass knobs on interpreter console in the booth. How the adjustment depends on the type of voice (eg male/female etc), type of microphone (podium, handheld etc). What improves speech intelligibility because this is what interpreters are mostly concerned about. Thank you for your comments. Simultaneous interpreters work in a variety of acoustic conditions but mostly conference with a variety of speakers and different microphones.
