Has anyone had to be away from their setup for an extended period of time due to travel. Im in london all spring, so I left my sextetts and 325is with a friend, so I have SR-60s for the time over there, but they really can't compare.

I have been away from home for almost a year now. Had to pack all of my gear and put in storage. I kept only my ipod and grado 225's. Recently picked up a minibox e+. Better than nothing. But I miss my big armchair. Personally I would have brought the 325's unless there was a security/theft issue.

Depends how you define extended.
But I have been away from audio gear, computer for two weeks without any problems.

Just been away from my set up. had to live with my se530's instead of my Darkvoice 332/senn 650 combo.

Saying that I was sat on a beach in the Caribbean, so can't complain to much

yeah I would rather sometimes just not hear music if it is going to be reproduced crappy, away from home that is

I'm in a similar situation. I'm going to be attending graduate school in Europe starting this fall. None of my gear will be making the trip except a set of phones. I'm really gonna miss my vinyl which is what I listen to 98% of the time.
