Hello - I'm looking for a compact/folding set of closed, over-ear phones for airplane travel, etc. Obviously, I'm going to need good isolation and would rather not carry an amp - I'm using an iPhone X. If they could double as studio tracking headphones, that would be nice, but not essential. I was looking at the Beyer DT1350, but I'm concerned they may be a little too hard to drive from a phone. Price range around $200. If I'm pushing the boundaries of physics with these requirements, please let me know. I'm fairly new to this. Thanks.

Thanks. I'll look into those. I'm also consider the DT770, even though it could be a bit bulky

They really do seem perfect if the sound is that good. My reference point is an open AKG/Massdrop K7xx.

I wonder if the HD1 would be good for monitoring a guitar amp mic in the same room.
