I need a small portable DAC of an analytical, transparent quality. Not warm, but clear as a newly washed window.

Now, what makes it a bit more difficult:

It should be USB powered (and take USB signal), possibly take 48/24 or more and have a line output as well as a headphone out.
It doesnt have to be fancy looking, the sound is what matters to me, and I want to get the most detailed and clean sound for the money.

Price not more then 400$, less would be great.

Any ideas from all of you with experience with portable DAC-s?

Thanks a million

Thanks so much,

As you can see, this last post was also my fist post,  :)
so I dont have much experience with DAC/HEADPHONE PREAMP combos.

I the iBasso neutral sounding in your opinion? Because I have done a search and have found some comments about it's sound beeing on the colored side?
What is perfect about the iBasso products are the features, that they take high sample rates, are UBS-powered and have a headphone amp as well as a line out, so thank you for the tipps.

How about these two:

Audioengine D1
Audioinst Inc. HUD-MX1

?

These seem both to be USB-powered DAC/AMP-s with line out included (and are small!)..
