Something from Creative, their Micro or newer Neeon are good buys. The iPod Nano does look very good, but its been having some fragility issues of late.

I couldn't live without my 40GB Touch, some people have music collections bigger than a Gig. Also everything I own being on my player means I don't need to be near my computer, during a vacation or some other trip.
If u had the cash i would definitely go for the ipod nano. It is just such a nice little player. If I was buying now i would have gone for the nano instead of the zen micro

I was thinking of HD DAPs.
As for the shuffle, no screen and itunes = no way. IMO
P.S: Was it so hard for apple just to put the DAC from the shuffle in the nano instead of the crap from porta player?
