Will the sound quality be different on an Airhead using the AC adapter instead of batteries? Better or worse? Thanks!

I don't know about the Airhead, but for the Total Bithead at high volume, switching to batteries prevents clipping more (i.e. the red light on the amp goes off). This is the only difference I have noticed so far(i.e. sound quality sounds the same).
So if you aren't playing extremely loud then you could just go to USB/AC power supply and save your batteries.
