Hello Head-fi,

To start off with, I have been very interested in headphones etc. a couple of months now. I recently upgraded my Bose OE to the AKGs k450

and I have loved these headphones ever since.

Now my music is all at a very high bit rate, however as I have no amp (yet) it lacks dynamics. So, as I searched for a better sound straight out of my laptop, I have stumbled across a programm called Toshiba Virtual Sound, which can be found here:
TOSHiBA Virtual Sound M | Sound output enhancement - nVision

Now my settings for these program are as follows:

WOW HD Function always used
Listening Environment: Closed Headphones
SRS Level: 38%
Everything else: 100%

Is it just me or has this had a dramatic effect on the sound output. I have found it to be quite positive. How does this program compare to others, i.e. Are there any alternatives.

Thanks
