If there's enough other HE-6 coming I might retract mine from the gear list because I'm still using the original pads that fall off sometimes... not a great experience for everyone at the meet ;P You should bring your own so that you can walk around to different amps and not wait for someone else to be done with their turn on them... past experience tells me that people like to spend a lot of time with the HE-6

I would be grateful if someone brought the HE-6 for me to try with my amp.  It outputs 6 watts, so unless you need to power them with a fission reactor it should work.  I have been dying to try them out.

I think USPS ships very slow for some reason.
The ETA for the phone is already 17th, which means, I might go to the meet naked ~~~~

What tubes do you have in the Crack your bringing? I _almost_ had my hands on a decently priced NIB WE 421A.  The owner is too lazy to get it out of storage to sell it to me. *sigh*

I only have the stock RCA 6080WA and a gold pin Electroharmonix 12AU7.  I keep looking for a decently priced 7236 on ebay, but demand is so high... *sigh*
From what I can tell you have a much better set of tubes along with mods.  Maybe I'll keep my amp at home?
What mods have you made to your crack?

I got the seller to change his mind on the 421a. I should have it in time.
 
I guess I'm bringing the tubes for you you to try then. I have a Chatham 5998, GE 5418, CV4003, Rogers 12BH7A, RCA 6080. Box of 4 mystery tubes that will all work on their way. Bring you amp, we can compare and contrast. IMHO that's what this is all about!  We can see if there are real differences and what direction were both going in.

I think HDVD800 is already enough to drive. Hope SB really bring some power stuff for me to try it on!

Congrats on the HE6!  I was really impressed with them and the HD800 at the last meet but went to the HD800 which I got at a super deal through a connection.  Too bad the connection is gone otherwise I could probably land an HDVD800 or Bryston at near dealer cost.  Oh well. 

 .. Please bring your HDVD800.. dying to try it with my HD800 and Naim DAC.. if you wouldn't mind..

Ouch should have checked up this thread sooner. I may have a review sample HE560 from Hifiman received by the time of this meet.
 
Then again I am so busy these few months with research that I may not be able to attend even if I reserved a spot.

Thing is I might not receive the HE560 in time.
 
Even if I do, I might be too busy with work, heck I'll try to free up time for the meet don't get me wrong.
 
Also isn't the 40 people limit all reserved? I don't know if I'm in that or not (I posted that I wanted to attend the meet that OP almost hosted, not sure if that also counted toward this upcoming one).

I am also looking for an DAC upgrade, that thing is on my list for a long time~
 
P.S.
Not sure how big is the desk, but I think I can at least stack all my stuff together~ Just make sure they are not all on at the same time. Class A amp burns~
