I can get the U18T for a very good price from Jaben Hong Kong. I need a grand sound. Ample soundstage and impressive bass and sub-bass and of course I love the sparkle in the highs. What would you guys recommend?I have IER Z1R and it's good with many DAPs but there's something about the mids. A bit dull and EQing makes the sound unnatural.

The U18T would be the better contrast to the Z1R if you ask me. The Solaris definitely has more mid presence that the Z1R but they are quite similar overall imo with the hybrid setup. The U18t is a detail monster but I've heard that it can become a little boring in its tuning.
