Long story short. 

I have the Asus Phoebus Sound card, My headphones are the philips Fidelio x1's, however will purchase the HD700 late this year.

I did not go through with the purchase. It seems that these amps are not that popular among st hi fi enthusiasts

Thanks. I am going to try again in the Dedicated Source Components section. I am thinking about the TP32 along with the Micca Spec as a purchase to replace my laptop for music listening.
