I think someone in the ASR forums said something like 2,0-2,5K a piece for the D900 and A900.

I'm hoping and expecting $1699 for the D900.

I think you hit the nail right on the head. There’s no way people are going to pay $2000+ for the D900 with all the competition in the market. Heck, people are not buying the D90 III Discrete at $1000. If Topping is actually looking to sell the D900 they must price it between $1499-$1699. I’m also curious to learn where they price the Centaurus R2R DAC.

Should we expect the D900 before the end of the year?

Why isn’t there anything new on this? Topping releases products every few months and the first time I‘m interested in something nothing happens for almost year? This is very annoying. At least an ETA update would be something.

I think they don't want to kill the D90 III Discrete sales.

And also, they just released the Centaurus r2r dac. Maybe we'll be able to get an update at CanJam NYC in February.

I have the D90 III Discrete which I find to be an excellent DAC

Accordingly, I fully intend to get the 900 when it pops up but I can’t find any news and want to stay focused on it if only to get the introductory pricing if that is a thing

I’m also wondering if anybody had an opportunity to listen to the Topping D900 at Camjam. This unit has been floating around the Topping booths for about a year. Not sure what’s taking so long but I’m interested to learn more about what people with first hand experience think about it.
