Hello! I'm looking to drive my Sundaras with a Topping A30 Pro, and I'm unsure if the extra $150 is worth it to "complete" the stack.

I am much more interested in sound than features like an LCD screen or a remote. Would the D30 Pro still be a better value, ignoring these features?

Thank you!

I don't think D30Pro is worth the price, also Soncoz isn't reliable, if you are in rush Modius looks like the best option at $200 or wait for reviews of the new Topping D10b if you need balanced, if you don't need balanced then there are plenty of good cheap DACs like E30 and Modi.

You have a lot of choices.

D30 Pro isn't bad but it is a little overpriced ($399).

There is the D10 Balanced, which measures better (SINAD of 119) but costs $139.

If you don't care about measurements as much as form factor you can look at E30 as well.

The Schiit Modi and Modius are good DACs, but you lose the screen, DSD support, and no preamp (volume control on the DAC). If you care about any of those three features then stick with Topping. The Modi and Modius IMO are more neutral than most of Schiit's lineup so frankly they don't sound much different from Topping's DACs.
