I am building a new computer using an ASUS ROG Strix B-365-F motherboard which has a SupremeFX S1220A audio chip. The specs say it provides 8 channel output (back panel) at 32 Bits and 192 KHz playback and has dual headphone amps. It has an optical S/PDIF output on the back panel and an HD audio compliant front panel connector. I am planning to continue using the Topping DAC and amp. My question is whether I should install the Topping drivers to use a USB cable or use an optical cable.
