Is there a high-quality headphone amp that has a comprehensive EQ on it? Like a 5 band fully parametric, say?
Interesting. Problem is, I use Audirvana on Mac, and it doesn't allow real-time plug-in adjustment.Better to doing EQing with a software program on the computer.
Maybe switch from Audirvana to a different app?Interesting. Problem is, I use Audirvana on Mac, and it doesn't allow real-time plug-in adjustment.
Agreed I use Roon and an M1 Mac mini and this allows for PEQ (although more expensive than Audirvana)Maybe switch from Audirvana to a different app?

Thanks - I've tried Roon a couple times now and never liked it, neither the sound nor the features. Though I guess it's because I'm maybe not their target user since I just stream music and don't have much interest in album notes or an AI radio.Agreed I use Roon and an M1 Mac mini and this allows for PEQ (although more expensive than Audirvana)
The best bet for no added expense is the RME which was mentioned.
Cheers, and Good luck!
Indeed it's not for everyone. It was only after many years and many other services that I settled in on Roon. Thanks - I've tried Roon a couple times now and never liked it, neither the sound nor the features. But I'll look at it again.

Good luck in your search, I also have an RME and it is indeed very very good, and it will do what you need without anything extra to deal with!
Cheers!!
