Kings of Leon - the pixies of the 21st cent
Bjork - homegenic was the best album of the 90s
The Knife - amazing recent cd and fairly new

Anyone who is still making music today. Don't judge them just on their recent stuff just what they've done in their career and their potential.

In a thread like this, I think you've got to judge based on recent output. It's the only way of distinguishing from a band that's still going strong versus one that's washed up. For instance, U2 has only put out two albums of new material in the last 12 years, and both have been pretty mediocre. It's fair to say they're burnt out of potential. Bjork has gone downhill since Homogenic. Sigur Ros on the other hand is still as strong as ever.
