Hi. Newbie to the forum and really in need of opinions.
gs1000.gif
I want some decent headphones but not wanting to go over £200 really. For what you get on paper the Denon NCW500's are both bluetooth and noise cancelling ..and Denon!. Reviews are mixed though.
-Are these or Denon's too bassy? Are they clunky or heavy, or is £170 down from £400 and pretty damn good price?!
-I could buy some intro level Grado's but the quality comes somewhat from being open, so lots of leakage. I want to use my on the train so not sure I could go for these.
-If I ditch the need for noise cancelling I could get some Senn MM500's
-If I ditch the need for noise cancelling I could get some AKG495's

As you can probably tell by the ramble, I've done a few late nights going round in circles reading review after review cross ref with reductions.
Opinions welcome - what to do?!

I haven't heard it but Sennheiser just came out with an MM550, which is Bluetooth AND active noise cancellation. According to reviews the ANC is as good as the reigning Bose QC15, which is no small feat.
