My Channel Islands Audio desktop HP amp is plugged into the Tape Out on my Rotel control amp (as Rotel calls it), but this means I cannot use the tone controls and I need to badly since have Denon 5000 set which needs to be tamed when it comes to bass.
How can I set up connections using any HP amp so I can employ tone controls? (Same darn thing happens with the Rotel when I just use the headphone jack--but never really do. Onkyo receiver also have does not cut out tone controls when using headphone jack.)
Is there a special amp I can buy that will allow at least some measure of tone control to solve this problem?
