Finally got my new Tomahawk yesterday, and paired it up with my Nano, the Vampire cable and my UM2's. This is my first headphone amp, so I really wasn't quite sure what to expect. It's very, very impressive! Comparing it to the UM2's off the Nano amp, it's as if a curtain has been lifted. There's a whole other level of detail to voices, particularly female voices (Ricky Lee Jones' Firewalker, for example, sounds just entirely awesome), and there's a much more palpable depth and soundstage- you can really visualize the placement of instruments and musicians.

The amp's sitting at home playing my Nano over and over as we speak. I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes over burn-in.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the look of my Nano rubberbanded to the Tomahawk- can anyone give me a suggestion for a more "elegant" way to do this?
