Ok i saw this on Reddit and its a great read if are a music lover read this article. This just covers rap/some pop music http://www.hiphopisread.com/2012/04/secret-meeting-that-changed-rap-music.html. I agree its almost impossible to listen to a top 40 radio station like z-100 and not hear a million references toward sex, drugs, or criminal activity.
