Everyday is casual day in the deptartment of the company my husband works for (The equal of Ma Bell in the US). Really, they just ask that you remember to actually wear clothes. There's one guy that wears a cowboy hat, boots, conchos and a bolero, and he's in all black. I've never seen this guy, but in Helsinki he must really stick out in a crowd.

I've never worked in this country, but are dress codes really enforced here, or is it a corporate culture thing? I'm not sure. A lot of people are really dressed sharply for work in their tailored dresses and expensive suits. Others are like the cowboy dude, just remembering to wear clothes. When I finally get work here, it will be at a "Just remember to dress" kind of place.

Ain't no "Ma Bell" in the U.S. anymore, & hasn't been since 1984...
