5:25 hours for the landing.

NASA TV live

Eyes on the Solar System for a cool virtual map of the mission and surroundings.

I say we sit around, light a fire and cook some marshmallows.

I highly recommend watching the landing preview on Eyes on the Solar System, it's such a beautiful and detailed simulation.

I'm watching the NASA TV live stream and a Google+ live hangout hosted by The Bad Astronomer Phil Plait, Fraser Cain, Pamela Gay and a few more astronomers. This is pretty exciting!

I might have had one....

Saw this on Twitter too:

"...the $850 billion dollar bailout, that sum of money is greater than the entire 50-year running budget of NASA..." Neil deGrasse Tyson

I can't wait to see the images returned in Odysee's next orbital pass.
