That was wonderful! Shame that I only have the original and piano version.

Does anyone have the 20020220 album? Is it well-recorded? (typical head-fi question

i have the 20020220 album and the more friends one. i prefer the arrangement of the tour de japon of the three albums.

recording quality is better on 20020220 and more friends followed by tour de japon (some low level hiss/noise/whine on some tracks) but tour de japon version has more energy, cymbals crash with more authority, drums beat louder, everything just sounds bigger and more lively.

Thank you choariwap. I'll try to find tour de japon then, since I like energy and liveliness in the music.

I saw live orchestrated versions of several Final Fantasy songs during the "Dear Friends" tour that Nobuo Uematsu put on a couple years ago. One of the original performances that this tour was based on was recorded and you can purchase it from Amazon:

I was at the Atlanta performance, it was a thrill to hear some FF classics at the orchestra.
