New Head-Fier
Fine for Hamlet but I've got a different problem.
My spouse snores like a foghorn and I'm a light sleeper. I've tried various noise masking and earplugs to no avail. My latest attempt to reduce the noise is to use active noise cancelling wireless earbuds. This seems to work OK, but...
I purchased the Airpod Pro 2. The sound, and indeed the noise cancellation, is amazing. But the little stems stick out and make it hard to sleep on my side, and the battery life is "only" about 6 hours. I figured I could get the battery life up by turning off the bluetooth ... but it apparently isn't possible!
So I purchased a Soundcore by Anker Space A40. These have longer battery life and don't have the stems, but they are larger in my ears and painful after laying on my side due to pressure from the pillow. I think there may be something wrong with them, as even with a good "seal" in my ears, I don't hear much of a difference between noise cancellation on and off.
What I need:
* Good quality noise cancellation.
* Battery life in the 8-10 hour range - when I'm NOT playing any music or making other energy consuming demands. Bluetooth can be off.
* SMALL or very low profile when in my ears. Over the ear loops might work - I haven't tried this - if it means the portion in my ear will be smaller.
What I DON'T need:
* I will not be using this for other purposes - music, calls, etc. - so the sound quality isn't important.
An inexpensive solution would be best, but I'll take anything that would work.
Please help save my sanity and marriage,
Jerry
