To bi-wire or not.

I don't waste my time with bi-wire. I do bi-amp using external crossovers.

If you got copper jumpers, leave em on i say, and have one cable!

I dont get how copper jumpers between binding posts can be bad, considering a pure piece of flat copper is pretty much the ideal conductor in my eyes. I mean, its a big piece of copper!

It's not exactly 99.9% oxygen-free when it's open to the elements 24/7. There's no shielding or braiding to a solid piece of metal, so there can be no protection against interference and corrosion.

I'm bi-wiring using the Canare 4S11 that Blue Jeans Cable sells. Sure, if you like paying a lot per wire, bi-wired will cost much more. I think ~$20 or less for two runs of quad cable is fair enough to test whether bi-wire is worthwhile.
