Tivoli CD player NOW OUT

The shipment is expected about the 1st week in November although currently there is a delay due to the strike on the west coast docks. We are hoping not to be that delayed but since it is not of our control it is hard to estimate. I talked to Tivoli and they are getting stock of the CD unit Thursday or Friday, and will be updating the web site to take orders this weekend (11/23)

I'm *really* hoping the CDP is as good as their other products -- it could be THE lower-cost CD player for headphone systems: at 8"w x 4"h x 10"d, it's the perfect size, it's very attractive, and it has RCA left/right outputs.

Jeez macdef, you've got me salivating over the thought of the tivoli cd player. . . I never thought of using it as a headphone source! Anyone have a price on this?

Did you mean with the antennae "attached" or "extended"?

I too would be interested to know how it compete with lower end CDP like Teac CDP1250, Denon DCD 485 or Yamaha CDX 396 (for instance). It could also be compared to those mini-components from Teac and Denon.

Anyone with an opinion to share?
