Microsoft promised for various language support later on for zune..

but yet... all languages except english comes out as a retangle...




this sucks...



anyone know when Rockbox/linux will be available?
or at least when there will be a European launch for Zune?

The hell? I have to take the hard drive out of the player just so I can get different language fonts to display correctly? Way too much work and risk.

It's sad really, Microsoft come out with an awesome sounding player (or so the reviews tell me) but then cripple the player with crappy software and make it nearly impossible to hack. Hasn't Microsoft learned from Sony? The more restrictions you put on a player the more your customers will hate you.

As for rockbox/linux, I've been waiting around for a working hack too, unfortunately very little progress has been made and it seems doubtful anything will be released anytime soon.
