I recently bought the Shure 115's and I'm having a hard time fitting them into my ears. Unless your'e an alien, how on earth are you supposed to fit those massive spheres into your ears? Are they supposed to actually "go in" or just hang outside the ear canal?

They are supposed to go very far into your ear canal. What tips are you using that are giving you this problem?

I'm using the black foam tips that come standard with the Shure 115s, the squishy ones. I gave up on the grey rubber kind though they isolate sound much better imo. Are you supposed to squeeze them to a small size before fitting them in?

* nvm, I tried squeezing them before fitting them and now they fit perfectly. I feel like such an idiot. wow, I can't believe the isolation on these now, can't even hear someone calling me from right behind. Anyway thx for replying
