I just bought a spool of the stuff from Fry's and was wondering whether there is any noticeable difference between the stuff. Does this also sound bright and harsh like a spc wire? I was planning to use the stuff for PSU (18 ga) and maybe the small signal stuff (prob 22 or 24 ga).

use the wire and enjoy it. I'm sure it will be fine.

hehe yeah thats what i was thinking too but then i remember reading something about skin effect etc... I believe that would be less too since Cu conducts better than tin.

Supra would tell you tinned copper is the best. Supra Cables. they make excellent wire btw.
