My journey into audio bliss has so far been:
D2000 -> uDac -> Schiit Lyr -> LCD2r2.
I figure now all I "need" to complete my little sonic love triangle is a decent DAC. i'll keep the uDac and D2000s around for a somewhat portable listening setup.
I don't too much mind having toslink/usb inputs as my computer setup has both. I do however have a budget of about $500 max.
Mostly listen to a lot of faster and heavier music these days (dubstep, rock, dance), so I suppose I'd enjoy a warmer sound.
So far I've been hearing good things about the Lyr/bifrost combo and the XDA-1 on clearance now. What would you go with in my situation?
