I see this as another intermediate step in the acscension toward the ultimate goal of imersive movies. Instead of buying a "static" movie, you will be a character in the movie and able to interact with the other characters. Think of it as a melting together of movies and video games. Like that movie Total Recall.

It's also a powerful "influence" tool as the "dungeon masters" will be able to frame and contain the plot and debate boundaries inside the immersion experience.
