ER6 is tier 3? I would think tier 2 - it doesn't compare to the SA6 or any of the rest in tier 3

Also, v-moda bass freqs for tier 1 and vibes for tier 2

The UM1,Super.fi3 & ER6 are always compared between each other. It would make sense if all of them are in the same tier.

I'd say, instead of using completely subjective means, we should stick to price ranges.

0-50$
50-100$
100-200$
200-500$
Above 500$

That's rather objective and it doesn't seperate the earphones that are often compared too much.

What about phones on the borders of those ranges, or that are in the top of the 100-200 range but beat out many of the bottom of the 200-500 range (cough SA6)? It should go by how people compare them, not price. People don't compare the im716 to the bose inears because the 716 kills it, even though they're about the same price.

semi OT. i had the ety er6, which i loved despite the lack of bass. But im716 just sounds completely awful to me... i thought they're supposed to have similar sound signature. baffles me.
