Because of the kind persons here who post info here, and after reading loads and being on very fixed budget have myself what I (nubie) consider much better than ok sound!

I was searching volume and easy next track shuffle.
Both in at least early days function great!
Really like Fiio verification!
Do wish amp had battery level indicator.
I had read some thought M3k U I was not user friendly, I knowing nothing and super low teck find it easy!
Again maybe some custom firmeware for my specific needs would be cool,
like one click song info, but so far feels fine.
HUGE difference for me is compairing to Ipod 5 the gen.
This sounds SO much better.
