It's great mp3 player with realy long battery life. I like it's sound quality(shows rich details in mids and clear highs with tight bass). It's also have some other feautres like FM radio, display pictures, slide in speakers(this is realy awesome). But Samsung other YP-T9 are good too with same sound quality and it's plays videos( it's smaller than K5).

I't a really nice player in my opinion, the sound quality is excellent, and I do mean excellent- low noise, great sound stage, and rich mids- highs- lows. I think this is the last samsung to use the sigmatel chipset. I also think the speakers are a little weak, but you can only do so much with open drivers that small. If I had to do it over I would get the new model coming out without the speakers, as nsjong mentioned. Build quality is excellent, but the touchpad can be a little wonky sometimes - imho.

Bottom line, one of my fav daps

r u going to be listening to it with ur ety's? I have a z5 and use ety er-6i with them. The sound is very good and my volume settings is at 1-2 bars lol. Also if u really want the fm radio, make sure u get the yp-z5f, not the yp-z5 otherwise u won't get the radio.

I was considering to buy iaudio's 2gb g3, but decided on samsung's 4gb z5 b/c I just had to pay $20 more to double my song capacity and get a 1.8 inch screen with photo viewing.

So far my experiences with the z5 have been positive, and if u have ne other q's abt it then I'll try to answer them lol.
