I received the ALTEC LANSING UHP336 today and they have only about 10 hours burn in so far but will give them 100 hours. I a/b them with my PL-30 and so far like them much better than the PL-30. The ALTEC LANSING UHP336have good bass but the highs are also very good way more than the PL-30. The PL-30 sound great but are lacking in the highs. The ALTEC LANSING UHP336 have this comfort fit that I like alot. I cant use the PL-30 with my portable radio for voice because of too much bass but the AL 336 sound great with voice and seem to isolate much better over the PL-30. I got these as a gift but have seen them cost from 40.00 to 159.00. Anyone else like these?

I really like the UHP336. Good sound at a nice price. I don't hesitate working out with them on, unlike my other more pricey phones.

Altec Lansing (owned by Plantronics now), has really good customer support too. My first pair of UHP336 had issues with the headphone jack, so I gave them a call, and within 1.5 weeks, I had a new pair in hand!

Can anyone compare these to iM716 depodded or the ER6i with Shure foam tips?

iM716 depodded will have a much clearer and detailed sound with the "Ety" sound signature. Bass will be a bit less then these, but the mids and trebles will be much better. However, the iM716 will require an amp to drive it to it's full potential.
