Some of you may have heard about this, if not all of you, but Apple is rumored to get rid of the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Lenovo/Motorola has already announced two new phones that do not have a headphone jack.
 
How do you think companies will combat the removal of the headphone jack? Will they include 3.5 to USB C/USB A adapters? Or do you think companies are screwing up by taking this route?

Looks like Apple may be focusing more on Lightning cables and wireless headphones in the future. If the new iPhone indeed does away with the conventional headphone output, this will limit the type of headphones you can easily use with it...but you should still be able to use them with an adapter. I do think companies are screwing up by taking this route. Most headphones don't use this type of technology.
