I set my sblive to 2 speaker setup for headphone use. The headphone setting messes up positioning cues for fps, while the 2 speaker setting works great. I concur with the impression that if you set it to headphone and listen to music that it does sound like it's all in the center of your head. I also use a y-splitter so that I can keep my cambridge soundworks microworks connected to the soundcard.
