Hehe, it's an exaggeration, obviously. I just never thought of using those clips for cable organization before and I will now be doing that. I thought some people here might find it useful also.

Oh I do that quite a bit at work. I always end up with a huge pile of those clips on my table from filed/shredded (sometimes shredding is filing
) that I do that. I use it quite a bit for all the plugs I have since I hated how they'd slide down and I'd have to constantly reach under the table and slide it through the gap between the wall and the desk.
It's also useful for holding spare rubber bands and such. But if you want a more permanent solution, the 3m mounting tape with the tabs for easy removal and plastic hooks are quite useful and the tabs help you mount without fear of damaging anything.
