Thinking to re shell earphones. Anything to do before impressions?

You're probably not getting much response because you're asking in a source gear forum rather than the forum for headphones...

But what you should probably do is research the companies you'd like to do the reshelling. When you've chosen one, ask them what their requirements for impressions are. Most customs companies have instructions you can print out and give to the person doing the impressions. Even when the audiologist has experience doing impressions for IEMs, different companies have different requirements and it's important to make sure the audiologist creates what the company needs. Don't grab the requirements from one company to get the impressions made for a different company.

oh whoops, i posted this in the wrong forum sorry. but thank you very much for the detailed response. It really helped. I'm thinking about going with Unique Melody.
