Im thinking of modding a set of Koss PortaPros instead of purchasing something a bit more expensive such as the Beyer DT770s or K701/K702/Q701. Any suggestions on headphones that may be a better option on mod recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I listen to jazz, IDM, ambient, classical, house, metal, hip hop, folk...

JVC HArx700 also have good modding potential and they are not expensive.
