The same here.
Even after modding the crap out of my 1212m I only use the PC as a source when I am busy with other stuff. When it's time to sit down and listen to music it just doesnt get it done like my 542 does.

The NAD 542 is an excellent cd player. In an audition (with speakers) I prefered it over many simliar priced and more expensive players.
