Im broke.
$100 is the absolute highest I would go; would rather go cheaper and get something used.
I have never used a headphone amp before and i ONLY want to get an amp if there will be a noticable improvement, not some miniscule hardcore audiophile "i own 30 headphones" improvement

Im really just looking for some soundstage...any suggestions?

Look for a used go-vibe (since you cant buy em new

). I have a version 3b with a ad823 op-amp and I noticed with my sr225's that the sound is more "full" sounding and the bass is punchier and again, fuller. YMMV.

If you cant find one check out the Z-Audio Epsilon., its only $107 shipped. 7 bucks above budget.

I am using my HF-1s through my PA2V2 (more out of neccessity than actual desire to though, given the delay in the AE-1). They sound good, much better than the SPDIF port on my computer. It does add some bass kick though... not sure whether or not that's good or bad. $60 shipped, and Gary is an excellent man to deal with.
