Hi,
I noticed there was a bit of talk about CC51 rebrands, such as the Nakamichis. The conclusion was the rebrands carry some legacy over Meelectronics former flagship, but the sound is just all muffled.
So I took an in-depth approach and described the problem on my blog: http://zabrzmij.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/meelectronics-cc51-za-70zl/ It's in some weird language, but you should figure it out from the pics.
I'm still not sure if they reached Mee's level, but they definitely have their lean, balanced flavour. IMO definitely worth trying, especially because they're cheap and MEE's pulling their current models off the market very soon.
