Monarch Mk3 with customisable faceplate, mother of pearl. Shell size looks to be similar to Mk2, hopefully it sounds as good as it looks. Now we await on the pricing.🤞🏻

Cayin RU7 + EA Cadmus 8W + Thieaudi Monarch + Spinfit W1 + Vicious Delicious by Infected Mushrooms...

The Monarch bass driven by the RU7 throws incredible blows!!!

[the Monarchs]

"Sample Lin" is Monarch MKiii (in green)

it definitely looks better on paper versus the previous Monarchs, at least for me. a proper mid-bass, a more linear upper midrange, and a better treble extension. I don't want to expect too much but HBB said "nice job" with a thumb up :L3000:

Apparently according to reddit sources these are the various faceplate options for Monarch Mk3. Not sure about this level of customisation, it may create a scenario whereby buyers of used sets are only looking for certain faceplate while the ones with unpopular faceplates will be difficult to sell. It's an interesting change from Thieaudio though.

From the graph, i prefer the bass tuning of the MkII for cleaner bass.
I just want better quality and implementation of the bass, not the tuning, they already nailed the tuning on MkII, adding mid bass especially on 100-150hz make slight bass bleed to me.
But treble extension is definitely better in MkIII for better air, hopefully bring larger soundstage perceival.

I agree with your perspective, but at the same time, I want a little bit of a mid-bass bump altogether. I think it won't bleed much (based on the masking effect & the equal-loudness contour graph measurement). I guess the air response boost will balance things out too. but we'll see.

High praise for the Thieaudio Prestige Ltd from these two early reviews:

HBB
AudioLevels

Seems like they fixed the upper treble issues. Still likely not as resolving in the mid-range as the Monarchs, but other possible advantages in the bass, fit, and treble.
Not sure if I should pull the trigger on those (Monarchs don't fit me), based on the initial reviews, or wait for other reviews to come in.

These sets are going to be so hyped. Jesus Christ. I remember I had to wait almost a month for my pair of MKIIs to even ship! I expect the MKIII to be hard to get a hold of for a little while.
