I'm not sure if this has been raised here before but I got a set of copper and silver cable from a very well known vendor. The cables weren't cheap and I think they do produce a very decent sound hence my purchase. However after the purchase these 2 earphone cables have been up and down the far east like I own a courier company
The joints tend to break so often and I have to send them back. This has happened about 6 times between the 2. My theory (and I may be wrong) is that due to the thickness of the cable the soldering is unable to hold it together as it would on a thinner/lighter cable. I was wondering if any one else has been experiencing this back and forth of sending cables back for vendors to get them patched only to repeat it a few weeks later.
I am definately choosing much softer cables next time.
