Loved the sound of my old Cary CD-300 and trying to get that sound again. It was based on BB pcm63 chips. Now have an Audio Research CD1 and wonder if either a Theta or EAD Dac with burr brown pcm63 will breathe new life into my music. Anyone feel that a separate dac would improve the already impressive AR CD1?
