Hi,
So all of you IEM lovers here, now that many new smartphones are losing the 3.5mm jack, what
Are you players/sources?

I'm asking this intentionally in this forum and not in the "dedicated players/amps" forum, since the answer there
Should be more obvious.

Thanx!

I usually listen right out of the dongle with the iPhone 7 but switch to the USB 3.0 CCK adapter with a JDS Labs C5D when I need to charge. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I should replace the adapter with a less bulky but less durable MFi-spoofing cable.

This. Or the still capable V20 if you want to save substantial money.

Or invest in a set of AKG N5005 which includes BT dongle/adapter. But that's crazy expenditure for a phone.

I have an iPhone 7 and cck3 usb with lightning charge port as well and it is obnoxiously huge. What is a MFI-spoofing cable you’re talking about? I went with a Q1 mark2 for now so I don’t have to use the cck3 adapter

Meenova sells a cable on AliExpress that's split so that it can be used to charge and use a DAC at the same time, but it's a bit pricey for something that could break if you already have an adapter.

I believe the near future will be all wireless.
There are already very good all wireless IEMs and it’s probably just a matter of time until we see more products, including wireless CIEM.
