There IS plastic used in the construction of the HP-1000!

Yes, I have discovered plastic in the construction of the HP-1000? Who wants to guess where? No, it's not the cable or the drivers. After some good guesses (or if someone already knows), I will post the answer

The perforated cap on the drivers is made of plastic.

Sorry to be so obvious, but the black perforated spacer between the driver face and the mesh of the earpiece?

Or

The 6mm jack plug housing?

The headband edging?

The cable nipples on the bottom of each earcup?

Nobody's got it yet. Just to let you know, it is something that all HP1000s will have, nothing added by a mod or something like that.

Heh sorry was trying to think what they where called, the plastic pieces marking the Right and Left driver.
