Good bass out an iPod (using headphones) the way the iRiver's can is there? Is there some secret method? Perhaps editing every single (4000+) mp3 files seperately using Peak and increasing thee bass that way? Kidding of course. I was so set on getting the 20GB H10, till I found out it is XP only. So again I find myself looking at the iPod...but the lack of a good EQ still haunts me. I guess I may be stuck with my 1GB ifp-799 flash player...for now...which does sound amazing in the bass department...

The only time there is no bass on the iPod is if you are using low impedence headphones. Otherwise, there isnt really a bass rolloff.
