as the apple exec vp of this forum I cast a ultimate ROFL over all zune owners on this forums lol just kidding. Though if the zune had a more effective line out and better quality music for download on the store I probably wouldn't be using a ipod at the moment

Yeah, but if this had happened to an iPod you'd have to go and buy a new one. It's the way Apple works.

Duh! Of course there's a warranty. But what about after the warranty has expired? At least with the Zune any updates is applicable to all models of Zunes, unlike Apple's motif.
